Major in Home Guard in WW2 Officer Commanding No 1 Company, 12th Battalion, Morriston.

MBE 1944

Major Faull raised No 1 Company of the 12th Bn Glam HG in May 1940. He has commanded it since its formation, since when approximately 1500 men have passed through the Company. The Company is raised from an industrial part of Swansea, and Major Faull has not had the same choice of officers as would be available to other neighborhoods. Notwithstanding this, he surmounted all difficulties by applying his own energies to his problems, with the result that his Coy is and always has been well trained, organised and equipped. Hs efforts are deserved of the highest praise.
