At the Llansamlet Senior School, Councillor WJ Davies, JP, chairman of the Swansea Education Committee presented the Martin Shield to the Llansamlet Senior Boys AFC. In making the presentation, Councillor Davies congratulated the school team, Mr Henry headmaster, and Mr A Yelland, sports master, upon heading the schools league table.
