Writing to his parents at Martin-street, Morriston, Mr Sid Rees, who is at present serving with the Royal Irish Regiment, stationed at Fermoy, Ireland, states that he has recently bee appointed lead drummer of the band. Previous to his enlisting with the Regular Forces at the outbreak of the war, he was a member of the band of the 1st Welsh Howitzer Brigade, RFA, who whom he served for 14 years.
